Privacy Policy

Generosity™, Inc. Effective date: July 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Generosity™, Inc. ("Generosity," "we," "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at www.generositywater.com and to the WTR App, our mobile application for iOS, together with the connected products that work with it, including the Intelligent WTR Bottle and the Home WTR Hub.

If you have questions about this policy or want to exercise any of the rights described below, contact us through the contact page at www.generositywater.com.

The short version

We collect the information needed to run your account and power your water intelligence: your email address, data from your connected Generosity devices, hydration data you log, health metrics you choose to connect, photos you choose to submit for food water estimates, and your approximate location if you grant permission. We use this information to provide the product. We do not sell your personal information. The WTR App does not use your information to track you across other companies' apps or websites, and app data, including health data, is never shared with advertising networks. Our marketing website may use standard advertising cookies, described below, which you can decline.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create a WTR App account, we collect your email address. If you contact us directly, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message.

Device and hydration data. Your Intelligent WTR Bottle and Home WTR Hub send measurements to the app, including water quality readings such as total dissolved solids, water level and volume, temperature, fill and drinking events, and device status. When you tag a water source, confirm an additive such as an electrolyte mix, or log a drink or meal manually, we collect what you enter. This data is the product: it is how the app builds your water quality history, hydration record, and retained hydration estimate.

Health data you choose to connect. If you connect Apple Health or an Oura ring, we receive the metrics you authorize, which may include heart rate variability, resting heart rate, activity, sleep, and readiness. We use these solely to personalize your hydration target and hydration insights. We do not use health data for marketing or advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. You can disconnect these sources at any time in the app or in your device settings, and the app works without them.

Meal photos. If you use the Food Hydration Factor feature, you can photograph or describe a meal so the app can estimate the water content of your food. Photos you submit are used to produce that estimate and are not used for any other purpose.

Approximate location. If you grant location permission, the app collects your approximate location to identify your serving water system and local environmental conditions, such as outdoor temperature, so your water intelligence is about your water. We request permission only for use while you are using the app, we use coarse accuracy, and we store only your most recent approximate location. We do not maintain a history of your locations. The app works without location permission, using the profile settings you provide instead.

Website visit data. Like most websites, our site's hosting infrastructure records standard log information, including IP address, browser type, date and time, and pages visited. Our website uses cookies to remember preferences and understand how the site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

Advertising and analytics on our website. Our marketing website may use advertising and analytics tools from third parties, such as a Meta (Facebook) pixel, to measure the effectiveness of our marketing and to reach people who have visited our site. These tools may collect your IP address, browser information, and the pages you visit on our site, and the third parties that provide them may combine that information with other data they hold under their own privacy policies. These tools operate on our website only. The WTR App contains no advertising or analytics pixels, and no app data, hydration data, or health data is ever shared with advertising platforms. You can decline advertising cookies through your browser settings, and where cookie choices are offered on our site, through those controls. Under some state laws, the use of advertising cookies may be considered "sharing" of personal information; you may opt out by contacting us or using the controls described above.

How we use information

We use the information described above to provide, operate, and improve the WTR App and our connected products; to compute your water quality scores, hydration record, and retained hydration estimate; to provide customer support; to communicate with you about your account and our products; to maintain safety, security, and fraud prevention; and to comply with legal obligations.

Account viewing (observer access)

The WTR App includes a read-only viewing capability that allows a specific account holder to grant another named account permission to view their data, for example for a product demonstration. Observer access is granted per person by the account holder, is read-only, and can be revoked at any time. Observers see the data of the account they were granted; their own account information is handled under this same policy.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. The WTR App does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, and no app data, hydration data, or health data is ever shared with data brokers or advertising networks. Health data is never used for advertising or marketing. Any advertising cookies on our marketing website are limited to website visit information, as described above, and never include your app or health data.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the product, such as cloud hosting, database, and application infrastructure providers, and only as needed to provide the service. These providers process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your information while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time by contacting us, and we will respond within one month.

Your privacy rights

California residents (CCPA). You have the right to request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, to request deletion of your personal information, and to direct a business not to sell your personal information. We do not sell personal information. We will respond to verified requests within one month.

European residents (GDPR). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability, in each case under the conditions set out in applicable law. We will respond to verified requests within one month.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact page at www.generositywater.com.

Children's privacy

Our website and the WTR App are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and post the updated policy on this page. Material changes that affect how the WTR App handles your information will also be reflected in the app's listing disclosures.
